Photo: Two men arrested with corpse of 3-year-old girl in Aba

Two men, Jonathan Nwogu from Mgboko Umuola in Obingwa LGA of Abia state and Chibuike Anubuife from Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State were arrested by the Abia state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC while trying to bury the corpse of a 3 year old girl in an abandoned pit in Osisioma, near Aba on Wednesday July 16th, Vanguard reports.
Parading the men before newsmen, the state commandant of the NSCDC, Andy Dateer, said the men were apprehended at Enyimba petrol station near Ariara International market, Aba as they tried to put the young girl's corpse in a sack for burial. A quarrel ensued between the men and another man who was to convey them to the point of burial in his car when men of the NSCDC, who were on a routine patrol around the city, saw them.
"As people started gathering, the owner of the car zoomed off and my men arrested the two suspects. If they had not been saved by my men, the public would have lynched them and the society would not be able to know the mystery behind their act" he said
Seaking with newsmen, one of the suspects, Chibuike said he met Jonathan for the first time on that day as he  pleaded with him to help him bury the little child. Jonathan on the other hand said a man accosted him to help him bury the child.

The NSCDC boss said both suspects will be handed to the police for further investigations.

But it’s all love between those two and everybody knows that”.

Watching Mo'Hits disband is the saddest moment in my career - Sunday Are

In a recent interview with City People magazine, popular artiste manager, Sunday Are, who manages stars like Omawunmi, D'Prince and others, said seeing Mo'Hits disband was the saddest moment in his career. He said he helped build the Mo'Hits brand and managed them for a while but he eventually left and not long after he left, they disintegrated
"Yes, I helped in building the brand, then I decided to focus on other things. There was no issue between us, we ran Mo'Hits like a family thing and we are still family. They are like my brothers. It was shortly after I left that Mo'Hits disbanded. Seeing the Mo'Hits that I helped grow go defunct was the saddest moment in my career. I waded in and tried to resolve their differences so as not to let the name die but I was made to realize it has happened and there was nothing anybody can do about it. I am happy that they are doing great individually and they are still friends. I would love to see them work together again. That is my prayer" he said

Read the tributes below…

You were a woman of principle, straightforward, strong willed and determined. You were the symbol of hope. When I look through your eyes little did I know that the end has come. Death is inevitable, but no man desires death at the time it comes. I am consoled by the fact that you are now translated from this sinful environment to a better place where the Lord has made for the righteous men of your kind. Farewell my desire. Rest in the bosom of the lord till we meet on the Lord’s appointed time. - Teddy Don-Momoh

Dear Sister, You came, you saw, you conquered but you didn’t depart, you only rested. I will forever miss your creativity and originality; above all your love for God and the industry. Rest in the bosom of the lord my dearest. -Gordons

I really can’t believe you are gone, you were a tenacious woman whose faith in God was unwavering in spite of all you went through, and you were very resolute and determined to succeed. You are a great loss to the Nigerian entertainment industry. Adieu Kefee -Lara George

You were like a younger sister to me. We were together in the studio when you recorded your last song. You loved God so passionately and lived a good life. Adieu woman of good nature and warm smiles. -DJ JIMMY JATT

My dear choir leader Words fail me. I miss you so much dear. You were and still a great inspiration to and many across the world. Sing on, sweetie, you left too soon, but we know God is in control and your music will forever live on. I will sing your songs; keep your memories alive forever. Watch over your mummy and daddy and your siblings, watch over us all. You are our angel for life. LOVE YOU FOREVER. -Nikki Laoye

I remember the time when you were there to chase death away as you put your legs in the fire place at mama Ngozi’s. Words could fail me to think about life without you because as much as I would love to tell about all you mean to me, I know what I meant to you. Can’t say I know where you are right now, but you are in the best place you always and forever will be, where even though words fail, love never fails. - Kelvin Obareki

IN LOVING MEMORY of my special aunty. You walked into my life for my birth, made me your special nephew. Indeed you are truly special and wonderful. Aunty Kefee, you were by nature a caring and loving person. A great support to many, far and wide, you time with me was uniquely enjoyable; the shopping together, your dances for me and those hugs and kisses I used to give you and your caring personality that was so spirited and bold. You left me too quickly and I did not have enough time to share with you all the secrets I wanted to share. The news of your departure has left a space no human can fill. Good bye aunty Kefee. Rest perfectly till we meet again to part no more. -Tobunu Obareki

Ke-Feelo, my dearest sister, you are indeed an icon, your stay was too short, but memorable, you touched lives, that charming smile of yours, you saw other as yours and had them to your chest. Today, we look back not to see you as a bible to be read and studied whether short or long stay, satisfying our lord is the main task and that you have done. It is now our duty to fight as you fought to make eternity. Remain blessed in the bosom of our Lord. -Lady J (Elder sister)

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY AUNT KEFEE With a heavy heart I have to say goodbye, you may have to live a short life, but your memory lives on in our hearts. Rest in the bosom of the lord, till we meet to part no more. - Blessing Uviase

Time is that precious, miracle we all receive as gifts, growing up together, remembering the rabbit episode, our humble beginning in the choir, your motherly and sisterly help with your babies Eudia and Rhina, accomplishing your dreams of being international and sharing stages with music greats, giving one great pride to call you my sister and our daughter, their aunt memories they seem but miracles they are to be how blessed our lives were because you were in it. The time spent together growing, time with my family. Indeed my loving Kefee in these time were miracles to me and truly that’s what you have been, destined to be. A MIRACLE for you gave us the time of our lives. -Obareki Franklin and family

You were my second mother; you cared for me and my siblings as though you have birth to us. You were a nice, caring, loving and hospitable person. You bought and shared things for everyone around you. You were the originator of your styles and idea, you did not imitate people. You love and cherish your family a lot. Your absence is so unbelievable. But i know that i will see you again, when we shall meet to part no more. I will miss you so much, because no one can fill the space you have left in me, rest on; sleep on in the bosom of the lord. -Okwono Daniel Oghenefega

Kefee, Although I never met you, you were a blossoming young lady destined to make height, but death is inevitable. You were cut off in your prime. We loved you but Jesus loves you best. Adieu sleep in the bosom of the Lord Jesus Christ -Ap. Dan Mayomi

In loving memory of Evelyn Irikefe words are not enough to express who you are and what you have become. The mirror of our pride, a reflection of our happiness, a symbol of humility and simplicity and role model to many far and wide. Indeed, there is an appointed time to be born and appointed time to die. But we do not know if it your appointed time to depart; only God knows. Nevertheless, in your sleep, continue to glorify the creator as you did while awake. Goodbye my sister till we meet again to part no more. -Davidson Obareki

Your time seed all too brief, your parting has left a void, you could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, for you followed the path God laid for you, you took God’s hands when you heard him call. You turned your back and left it all side by side or miles apart “you remain close to our hearts” Rest in peace our “Pride” in the bosom of the lord, till we meet to part no more. -Umokan family

Your exit was just too sudden, it is a great loss to us but can we question the almighty? Who are we to ask God why? Who is the greatest you were and remain a ‘jewel’ of inestimable value not to our sister your mother, but to us her family. You came, you saw and conquered, indeed you lived your life to affect all. Adieu BRANAMA till we meet to part no more. GBE TO DE-OO KEFEE -Oghenekevwe and Oyibodoro family

What can I say? What can I write? Kefee. This is unbelievable -Rexa

We were surprised when we were told to pray for you in your sick bed in USA, and our mummy, Lady J promised God that if you are back, she will call us for thanksgiving. But now it was the other way round. Well, you have run your race, your legacy will remain in our hearts because you were ‘Gold’ in our mummy’s neck and we know you are up there with the angles, singing and praising God. Sleep till we meet again. Bye bye Kefee Branama Queen. -Lady J Crew

In loving memory of my aunty Kefee, in my mother’s womb I knew you and I was born, I saw you. I loved you just the way you loved me. You came into my life and made it beautiful, but your stay was too short. I wish you would nurse me into a big girl. You smiled, laughed with me always, calling me Fejiscosco. Indeed I’m proud to be your niece. I will miss you greatly. Sleep on Aunty Kefee, till we meet again. -Okwono Daniella Oghenefejiro

I will miss you greatly, I pray God will give me the grace to bear this great loss. Farewell, sleep on, till we meet to part no more. Rest in the bosom of the Lord. -Okwono Daniel

In loving memory of Aunty Kefee, you didn’t even allow me to know you better. I am only but a baby when you left, but I will miss you greatly. Rest in the bosom of the Lord. -Okwono Oghenerome

Kefeeyooooo! My sister, my friend for life, hum, i feel so speechless, but must say you were my rock and my inspiration when i though i was not good enough. You helped me stay shining i will always love the good memories we shared. How we always sticked together each time we travel. How we gist from night till morning. You will remain in my heart. With a heavy heart and eyes filled with tears, I have to say goodbye. You were a good sister that I loved so dearly. It was my birthday month that death decided to take you away. You will no longer call me “yenkus darling” or sing a happy birthday song to me. To whom do you leave me for? You may be no more, but your songs will remain on everyone’s lips. even the unborn children of this world will sing your songs. Though, your stay in this world was short, but you staged, saw and conquered. Now you are asleep, even in death, your amazing smile, silence, style and humility will always be remembered.
