The late Kefee‘s husband, Teddy Don Momoh was absent at the candle light service held at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre, Benin on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
The service was attended by a few gospel acts including Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, DJ Gosporella, and comedienne Princess as well as fans from near and wide.
One of the organisers told NET that the family members had changed plans and taken the corpse to her hometown in Sapele, where she will be buried on Friday, July 11, 2014.
Kefee died on Friday, June 13, 2014 after being in a coma for 15 days.
Teddy who had been in the US for the past few weeks, following his wife’s unprecedented illness which led to her sad death flew back to Lagos last weekend.
