Four people have reportedly been
killed after a plane crashed into two buildings in Utawala area, Nairobi.
The
plane crash occurred in the morning of Wednesday, July 2, 2014. The aircraft
which belonged to Skyward Airlines had taken off from Jomo Kenyatta
International Airport and was ferrying cargo to Mogadishu, Somalia.
It also
left two watchmen injured in the crash. One has been treated while the other
admitted at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital. Confirming the incident, Nairobi County
Police commander Benson Kibue said;
‘The plane crash landed and burst into
flames, four occupants were killed and we are combing through the debris to
find out if there are more’.
